Cayden's First Day at "School"

Well, today was his big day! His first day at "school" (daycare), and he did a GREAT job. Chris took him in this morning, his cousin, Dalton spotted him right away and they instantly took off to the toys and started playing together. Chris said he hardly got a hug goodbye. He also called mid-morning to see how things were going. They told him that he had a moment where he missed Mom and Dad, but he was fairly easily re-directed and he recovered well. The other thing that I am just in awe of is he crawled on his little naptime cot, and took a two hour nap. AMAZING! So, hopefully it wasn't beginners luck and that the rest of his days will be just as happy for him.

Grandma and I had a pretty low key day. There was lots of activity on the house today, so we hibernated in my room. Amanda stopped in for a surprise visit. We were hot this afternoon with the 90 degree heat...it got pretty steamy in here. Thank goodness for fans!
